Super Jet Disabling lanyard kill switch?

While I agree with the throttle down thing, it's too easy for a runaway with no lanyard. Make your ski work the way it was designed and keep yourself from making the local newspaper.

No but what he is saying is that if the throttle happened to ever get stuck there is no chance of it shutting off.

I only did the throttle thing this weekend because I'm at my lake house and dont have heat shrink and a soldering iron to install the spare switches that I have. I agree with Bruce you just need to fix the switches asap. Monday night after work I'm going to put the new switches in.
 
Ive been thinking of doing a writeup on a start stop rebuild. Its a very big issue with skis that have seen lots of riding, but no maintenance.

Its really very simple. If you take your time they will work just as reliably as new. None of the components that matter really wear out, they just need cleaned. At least on all the ones ive done.
