Differences in SX, SXI and SXI Pro Driveshafts

I'm kinda looking into moving the motor back. I dont want to completely destroy the handling of the sxr so we'll see. I've talked to someone whose done it and they told me what I have to do. I'm going to try to get a SXI Pro shaft and another engine plate to modify and if i end up not liking how it handles I'll change back to the stock stuff and sell the driveshaft and plate as a "ready to install" kit!

hey I'll measure my SXR one tomorrow since I have it out.

The SXR driveshaft is 27 3/4" (give or take an 1/8 I was shivering in my garage).

I have an X2 drive shaft and a 650 SX drive shaft in my possesion. Those eBay pics of them are pretty much it.

I can't comment on the 750 SX lengths.

I did see a TS drive shaft on eBay and it was a lot shorter than the X2 one I have.


I am glad you brought up this question though. I am wanting to put a 750 pump in my X2 and I am worrying about the length I need.
