Surfriding Difference in these dakine straps?

Could you guys tell me the differences in these dakine straps? The product descriptions are basically the same.

What do you guys think is best?

Also I have a mounting question. I'm going to be glassing in tee nuts to my tray to mount them. I'm going to have 25mm padding and then the turf. On flat days I'm probably going to want to take them off and leave them in the car and just use my footholds. Will the insert stick up too far and get in the way of my feet and possibly cause injury?

Basically the more expensive they are the thicker the padding & better adjustment.

the cheapest ones are very thin where as the X lace version have very thick padding.

some don't like the X lace but I like mine

The primo and the proform are the ones I'm interested in.

I said the padding size and mounting set up in the op but I put it at the bottom, sorry. ...25mm padding..tee nuts glassed to tray. I'll be wearing wrestling shoes or athletic shoes in 10 1/2.

I don't know enough about either strap to really determine if its what I want. I've never run a strap before so I don't really know what I want other than I want to get in and out fast and for it to lock me in while in the air.

I rock the supremo, adjustable and super cushy. The adjustment isn't as easy as the x-lace but I like the sizing a little better, I run 25mm padding with bonding fasteners underneath.

Have you considered a front foothold?

Funny you should ask I actually had a thread about that. http://www.x-h2o.com/threads/127190-Footholds-straps-lake-erie-surf

The strap is actually for my back foot.

Most people are telling me I'd be fine with just footholds and a front strap or front foothold...but I'm being stubborn and really want to try to have a set up where I'm locked to the boat in the holds for flatwater and wake jumping and for surf I can get in surf stance and be clipped in to my back strap..

I'm trying to have it all really. We'll see how that goes:Flush:

That's actually the main reason why I asked the second question. The tray is going to be quite crowded on a flatwater freeride which is why I want to be able to remove the strap and not notice the hardware glassed in.

I'll shoot a pic of mine later if I remove my footstrap all you see is 4 small holes in the turf/pad
