did my first stabs!

im soo happy!
did my first nose first landings today! nice surf to be trying off of and i figured out how to go at an angle so that i wont fall forward on impact. i dont have straps yet. i was just turning 90 to the left, breaking the surface at about 45 to 50 degrees. not enough air to sub.
i did a few nice ones that i rode out of, one step off that was nicely timed. and a few times falling over. then my ski started messing up again, i thought it was electrical but now im thinking water ingestion. what happens is it runs great then gets wet and dies/has no bottom end, topend still rips tho. got new plugs but no help. i need a stock airbox BAD! brett offered his sj to me and i couldnt say no. riding a stockish ski really makes me grateful for the mods done to my ski! ada does it no doubt! well i get out there on his ski and feel it out some. ended up doing the best stab of the day on his ski! bigger and steeper, rode right out!

pushed it a step or few further today!!! :woot:
did 180 stab that subbed the ski, rode out, NO STRAPS!
and i covered up 2 1/2 the holes in the front and guess what! my ski didnt bog at all, all day!!!
every day is the best day, i love this sport!

i wish i could post the images in my head, if i had a camera it would be the best ski video ever. those guys all go huge

oh i already know why, i had to step off of quite a few because i wasnt perfectly positioned in the tray. that and falling forward on impact, but that may just be me extending my legs too soon. i think i know exactly where i want to mount it too. right now i only want one in the front because i still move my rear foot around some.
fun!? if i had waves in my backyard id never leave home.
