Devcon / exhaust

So.. guy I know made a mistake when he was grinding/porting/machining in an exhaust port(**) . He used some Devcon(or an equivalent) to fix the "blem". Was this a good thing for him to do? Will it last? it is on aluminum not the sleeve,
Any opinions on this will be forward to him.

I don't think it will last, should probably be welded.

Id say it depends on where its at

if directly in the exhaust path in port then it'll melt within minutes so should flow right out of the exhaust.
