I pulled the wore out turf off to put in footholds and noticed a crack in the tray. So I decided to cut out the tray and take a peep at the foam and sure enough it was soggy. Not terrible... Wasn't flooded but was deff. Damp so started to Defoam and got a Lil Defoam happy. Fig whole I was there clearing it out may as well get it all out m start from scratch.
When I pour new foam is there any techniques tricks of the trade I should know. I plan on using a belt sander after its all done to prep for the glass work. Also any specific foam that works best I know it's a 2 part mix but don't know where to get it obv my local boat yard can tell me just fig if ask around. Also I bent a water line a Lil but think its gonna be fine. Not a hull I plan on keeping long prob just this season maybe. Any thoughts pointers or suggestions would be appreciated thanks...
