Super Jet Decided to Mod my 2000 SuperJet

I have always kept my ski's bone stock except for intake & ride plates, but feel the need for more power. Just installed a 10/16 Hooker Impeller, have on order a Factory Mod Pipe, Kommander Girdled Head with 35cc 185 Psi Domes, and Boyseen Reeds - besides that I have a R&D Intake & Ride Plate.

Question for you guys, should I do the dual cooling or is single cooling fine with my setup? I do not ride hard like the young guys (I'm 44), mainly running the shoreline, jumping, 180 slides, tail stands - have not learned to barrel roll, nose stabs, or subs.

Single water feed is fine just need another outlet off the head...I added one to my stock head and it runs nice even after a long wide open run... Not to hot not to cool.... Just rightImageUploadedByTapatalk1369183848.204077.jpg

Dual cool it Dan...My engine runs amazingly with all the mods Chris did to it and cool as heck all day long. May also want to think about a flow control valve to dry out the pipe a little more. Are these mods going on the 08 or 01 SJ?

Mods are going on the 2000 SJ, my only concern with doing the dual cooling route is if I ever want to put the ski back to stock - I doubt I will ever sell it, but you know me with ski's.

It's a plus for those in the know when reselling. You could always drill another inlet from the pump to inside the hull as well if you wanna keep the stock bilge.

Speaking of bilges, it sounds like you will be throwing this ski around a little more then you do your other skis. May wanna think about a bilge pump as well.

Ultimately I will trust whatever Chris recommends when we install everything, it's a big step for me going from stock to modded - I made a promise to myself years ago when I got out of drag racing that I would keep my stuff stock (the mod monkey on your shoulder can drain your bank account), I spent thousands of dollars make my past Ford Lightning's go quick in the 1/4 mile, my last truck I had 50k (621 RWHP & 708 Ft Lb's Torque) into it between purchase price and built race motor, mods, etc. to get it to run 10's in the 1/4.

Here is my old money pit, damn I miss this truck:
