Well, how nasty is this. So far this season the authorities have found 8 dead bodies in the ohio river........all within 2 miles of where I put my boat in :puke: 2 were homeless guys, 2 were from a car wreck, the most recent one was a badly decomposed masicated women and I forget the circumstances of the last one. Other than that I have to say the the river is a great place to ride :cool2: Usually nice a calm w/ a steady amount of barge and cruiser traffic.

The rivers around here are getting worse. I got really sick last year after whitewater kayaking. Doc said it was from Ecoli!!!! Missed work for a week.

Never found a body yet either.

There have been several bodies either found or missing in the Cumberland here in Nastyville. Just recently a homeless woman was pushed in by some rednecks at the downtown riverfront. The EMS guys were out in force last weekend looking for her, but did not find her. This is all withing a couple of miles where we put in to ride the riverboat and cruisers. The water is nice and cool and it flows but I always keep an eye out for mysterious floating objects :Flush: :puke:

there have been several drowning victums in the lake but no bodies that I know of. just lots of decomposing fish. I use to live by the river and my dad found a body at our ramp in Bethlehem indiana. Pretty nasty. It had floated down the river and got cought on a tree at the ramp.
