"THURSDAY (and beyond): A period of very small to near flat surf may be in store. Models indicate that a surface low will form in the Atlantic several hundred miles east of Florida Thursday afternoon, but with the strong zonal (west to east) flow in place, the low is forecast to race away to the east, taking most of the swell it may generate with it. Even smaller conditions are likely through the first half of the weekend, though there is hope that a strong back-door cold front pushing through late Saturday could generate a new north wind swell by Sunday."
