Was looking at the daytona.org site and it said zones open weekends and holidays only, is this something new or a mistake

I thought that zone was open all the time if you have the permit from the county.

the daytona zone (north of ponce inlet) is open everyday, but the new symrna beach zone (south of ponce inlet) is open weekends, maybe you confused them?

Good news! Haven't been on that site for a long time, it says that for both north and south must be a mistake, wanted to check for sure you never know

it does say it for both, but it's not true. its open everyday. They probably put that there to keep some of the people away during the week since beach patrol can get short handed... I dont know.
