SXR dasa top end kit need feedback

stock crank will be fine Ive been running a 840 big bore on stock crank with 190 psi for 2 years with no problems....i found you need the spacer between the ex. mani and head pipe or you have to mod your head pipe to clear the power valves when there open

No doubt powervalves have to have room to fully lift and have a little room to spare . I am sure it is possible on this SXR setup . Maybe not in all cases . I see some differences in my manifold and smrbums and the cylinder is also slightly different . The upper bolt holes on mine had to be cut accross the top opening them up in order to fit the cylinder .I see smrbums did not have to be cut that much . Either way I love working on these things and tuning . Its not work .

Got 2 sets of domes . Just decided to go with the smaller sleeves . Its a bouy /freeride ski and I think it will have plenty of power . Its got a few oversizes and will end up somewhere around 850 . Can also resleeve it later with bigger sleeves if I decide I want to .

Got a couple of short breakin runs with it Sunday . Very nice power delivery .Will run it hard this weekend . Can't wait to get one of these in my Superjet . Will probably go 8 mil stroker on it . These motors take a while to get and you have to be patient . It's worth the wait .

Ran a couple of tanks through it sunday and jetted the carbs , a set of novi 44s . Runs strong especially in the midrange which is what I want . Will put a set of novi 48s on it this saturday to see what the difference is . Cylinder has not even been ported yet and no case matching either . Wanted to see what it ran like before and after . The transfers match the sleeves worse than a 61x yamaha so I know there are gains to be had there . Also need to match the exhaust manifold and open up the headpipe . Only limitation there is the factory pipe manifold is thin due to waterjacket an if its bored to big there could be issues with the gasket sealing . This cylinder bolted on without any case boring which was cool .

LegDragger find yourself a westcoast ex. manifold. They are solid so they have more meat for porting so you can open them way more than the Fp. manifold?

Smrbum what pump setup an d prop or you running?
