The opening statement is "what is the power difference between 89 and 94mm SS dasa motor" and this thread ended up with another freaking discussion over surf/flatwater set ups.

can anybody elaborate on these two set ups?? As anybody tested the Dasa SS 94mm?

Yes I did, a few posts up.

My Summary on the 89mm vs 94mm question (My opinion, even though I don't own either)

89mm bore = possibly bigger pump, prop, cooling, burns a lot of fuel, ignition, riders needs balls.
94mm bore = need bigger pump, prop, more cooling, burns more fuel- high octane, ignition, rider needs bigger balls. Most likely for the more experienced flat and surf rider.

No one has talked about Cannibals question about the Kawi dasa

Some on here wouldn't even THINK of running a Kawi based engine even though IF it was possible by the questions I've posed, one could build a budget 921 with 89mm pistons while using SJ exhaust and ignition. I'll get with DASA and get some info.

Off subject even futher.....

My question was not meant to de-rail your topic. It was meant to offer a potential option.
