Custom/Hybrid Cylinder -> exhaust manifold gasket DASA 850 SS billet cylinder?

Another gasket question.
Im putting my DASA SS 850 engine together, and noticed that the gasket between cylinder and exhaust manifold dosent fit 100% correct. The top part of the gasket, that seals around the exhaust port, sits 1-2mm lower and blocks the top 1-2 mm of the exhaust port.
Do any of you use a special gasket for these cylinders or cut the normal gasket, to free this 1-2mm ?

I'm not aware of a special gasket. I'd just mark it and cut it to fit.

Yeah, but i does make the top part of the gasket (were my finger is) very thin. If this top part was moved 1-2mm up, it would be perfect. If you get what im saying

Sand the the gasket by the top of the port a little, and sand the bolt holes a little so the gasket slides up a bit farther.

if you cut the gasket then the problem bill still be there with the exhaust manifold anyway, the reshaped gasket would then need to be used as a template and the manifold modified to suit

we made blank YAMI and KAWI gaskets so that you can cut your own water passages and trim to fit the exh port without cutting anything too close, we ran into the same issue with the kawi dasa's. PM me if you are interested.
