cutting tray for trim?

just wondering if you have to cut the tray for a trim nozzel.

Depends on the trim setup and how much throw you have. I cut mine super deep so i guess i could have like 75* throw. Plus it looks cool and breaks up the lines in the back.

I would say that is wayyy over kill. Just get what trim system you are going to use and mount it to get a good idea if you need to or not. I would think you may need to remove the lip a bit but nothing as drastic as whats above.

My protec setup had about 15 degrees of trim before I worked on it and it didn't hit the stock lip even wraped in turf. But now with over 30 degrees of throw I will need to cut the tray all the way up to the eyelet in the tray.

I don't want to cut the ski that much I am afraid of making it weak getting rid of the rear lip but I don't have a choice
