Super Jet Cutting pole, how much should i take out?

i used automotive structural adhesive... i would think any quality 2 part epoxy would be sufficient...

just any update for people wondering on this, I cut 1.5" out (pole already had 2" taken), used jb weld and bolts and its mint. actually wish I had gone shorter, so maybe ill try a shortened turn plate next. -Jesse
