650/X-2 Cutting info

Hey everyone,
Hope you are doing great,
So i have another X2 hull cutting question, im looking at shaving the seat right down to a flat deck, but im curious as to is it as simple as shave it off and fibreglass it up or is there some interworkings going on in there i need to be aware of (i noticed drainage holes but thats about it).
Many thanks guys :)
