Its all about heat and forming it. You have to cut it to fit the top of the rail and of course leave extra to go down and hang a 1/4-3/8"" past the bottom edge. Then get the heat gun out to about 600 degrees and wear a welding glove. Heat it and shape it a bit then get some 2" masking tape and start taping it down to the hull. Then heat the shait out of it and hold it down and stretch it a bit and let it cool. Do that for a few times and it looks like a perfect preformed piece with no cutting involved. Glue down and trim. Awesome!
Looking at some pics of some Blowsion skis helped me to figure it out.
For the front piece you have to do the same thing.
