Cut-back sxr prop not fitting in x2

Wow this got way more replies than I was planning. I did turn down the splines in the prop to make sure the driveshaft did not bottom out on the splines and ruin them. My problem was this 1/2” thick rubber bushing in the prop that was preventing the driveshaft from sliding all the way back. Removed it and the pump slid right in and everything spins nicely. You can see the rubber bushing in the picture below. 960F6186-2EBB-429A-8898-481604504CEC.jpeg

Sorry if I came across a bit harsh. I'm a little edgy anyway and my in-laws are here for the holiday. Also one of the most ridiculous posts I've ever read here was just recently when someone suggested it was time Jetmaniac started his own website.

I'm the one Who talk about the same prop on the fx1 and not helping my bad...

Just about the setback mine was done by Impros too a decade ago. Maybe he as some minor changes on the setback value.

About the forum i think it's a gold mine for whoever wants to search (for just a minute) about really helpful input of actual users...and that is clearly the oposite of FB...

I was right about the splines, but you were actually right about the problem, as the OP had machined the splines and had a install problem, not a machined problem. But the whole conversations has been productive. I added this thread to the X2 sticky as it has a lot of great information.

And I get it, but you will find those on facebook too. In the last few days I have been getting mocked by a number of people on FaceBook for suggesting that modified power wheels should have seat belts, roll bars and/or helmets. Some of these parents are bumping these cars to 24-36v, putting on larger tires with gearboxes from smaller cars, pushing to 15mph with toddlers with no safety considerations at all. I'm a "karen" with my "panties" in a wad for suggesting safety needs more consideration. Hate to go to a party with you, sucks to be you as a kid, glad you're not my dad they've said. Totally uncalled for responses. The ridiculous is everywhere.

When their kids are licking school bus windows or eating thru straws they’ll finally ‘get it’.
