pole weight is about 4lbs.
Here's some pic's. You can make it as short as you want. I had mine shortened -2" and i love it. Im 6'4 and while in the foot holds its beauty!

PLD makes a solid cheap one

they are a bit heavy but so are the stock 650sx ones
