well i have had a little starter trouble lately so.... decided to replace it all . Anyway.... I'm lazy and really did not want to pull the tank rig a slide hammer etc. So I threaded the bushing to with a 1/2 tap used a 1/2 bolt and some spacers . In my case what I had laying around in a 5 gallon bucket . 3/4 inch pipe nipple and a few washers would be better . The spacers / pipe rest on the case and the bolt pulls the bushing out thru the spacers . Here are some pics to better clarify.
