I understand you want the same vacuumed pressure under the boat. A bigger motor is going to want to pull more water quicker increasing vacume. I see how the larger intake volume helps keep that OEM ratio balanced by lowering the vacuumed pressure. I don't understand how the fingering helps other than the increased volume. I could only assume that the same benefit would be had by keeping the same intake geometry and offsetting the profile to increase to the same volume the fingers provide. I know we ride our ski's a bit differently than most, however, 100's of engineers have spent thousands of hours optimizing jet pumps across all impeller base boats/skis alike. I can only assume they know what they are doing. But hey, cant knock someone for trying something different, however, I'm calling BS as far as "improvements" untill proven otherwise.
