I have has the pipe on my ski for 2 years and I have never had any issues with it at all. I mainly ride on lake Michigan and we do get some really good surf sometimes. On the flat days is it kind of nice to have some good mid to top end power. Ultimately, I would like to get the stones to try some rolls and flips, but we will see. I just didnt know if the extra $500 would really we worth it.

it will start falling off as soon as you start to ride the ski hard. flips and rolls = pipe falling off. its good in the bay jumping boat waves but that gets old in about 2 mins. b pipe set it and forget it.
its like pretty skis 98% of the guys that are worried about there paint turf yada yada dont really ride. go find a real surf rider and there ski is a mess. its just goes with beating the crap out of the ski from the min you put the lanyard in. hay as long as its running it all that matters.
p.s. i should say learning flips and rolls will make it fall off. its the learning part that sux.
