Other cracked my sinus

so i went out to ride yesterday early in the morning with a good group of guys...the boats were rolling out one after another for the holliday weekend

5mins in i go to roll off of a wake (i should have warmed up) thought i would try the whip technique to begin with but totally just hung off the ski
made it about half way around w/o any body movement and i believe i hit the chinpad or bars with my left cheek
-left me with a bloody nose
-black and blue eye
-headache
-sore teeth on the lefty side
-and to top it all off a cracked sinus
^^^ found this out after goin to the ER later in the day

i cant blow out of my nose or sneeze out of it for 3 weeks
this really bums me out because i was on a ROLL!!!

Bummer! I did something very similar last year. Except I cracked my cheekbone/orbital. Everyone I saw for about 2 to 3 weeks kept asking me who kicked my arse! Nobody believed it was my jetski!!

Dayum. That sucks. I have seen this happen to at least 3 pepes trying rolls here.

I got it once but not to bad. Couldn't breath through my nose for a few days.

haha i was in the hospital with a broken leg, wrist, and two fingers and some old lady said, "i hope you beet the $h!t out of the other guy" after readin all the roll carnage, i'm scared to try rolls off anything bigger than a set up wakeuch:

Don't be scared. Just wear a helmet like mentioned above. I was a dumbass and didn't have one when I did that. Now I wear one everytime I'm going out to get crazy. It's a must!

Oh yeah. Mine turned purple by the next day, but didn't get literally black until about day 3 or 4. Stayed that way for quite a while. I think it was about a full 3 weeks before all of the color was gone. You'll be lookin' some kinda sexy!!:biggrin:
