Super Jet coupler install washer or oring nothing? 760 crank

ok's getting ready to slam the motor in but from memory the 760 couplers had a spot built in for an oring.
i'll using superjet couplers now should i just put a washer behind it? can't remember why but im sure something is ment to get inbetween. cheers

washer on the midshaft, nothing on the crank . coupler should seat on the seal surface edge of the crank

A spot of thread sealant will keep everything like new.
