Super Jet Coupler getting hot!

Hey guys,

I have a slight problem with my Superjet, Im running a Ported Jet maniac motor which Rips , the issue is the coupler is getting insanely hot, I am using Rhaas Engine mounts which a pretty soft not sure if that is causing issues,

Everything is aligned perfectly and it is a ADA coupler,

Could it be the crank seals or crank causing the heat? ( ran about 15 hours on the motor during December without any issues)

Could it be the soft Engine mounts, I can move the motor far more than my other ski with cold fusion mounts. Anybody else have issues like this?

Couplers do get hot. Crank gets hot and mid shaft gets hot from front rubber seal riding on it. The double lip front seal on the blasters create even more heat.

Well, my stock ski gets warm... I could touch easily , my ported ski with mods gets so hot it burns , almost a sizzle ...

Hot that I can't even touch it . The whole motor is touchable except for the coupler ...

Coupler on my PJS 550 motor would boil water. As close to perfect alignment as possible. Scared the piss out of me the first time I noticed it. Was never a problem. I wouldn't worry about it. Do you not have a cover over your coupler?
