Super Jet correct clerance of midshaft

Hi I've read in this forum that the correct clearance between the 2 couplers should be 2-3 mm. But I just had my midshft and housing rebuilt by a shop here and then took it home to install, after finished, the clearance is now at only 1-2mm. Is this ok? I'm kinda lazy and really dont want to remove it again. Ahhhh!!! if it's ok I'll use it as is.

Thanks a lot guys

You can move the motor forward a little bit on the motor mounts.
It's possible that the shop didn't press the midshaft back into the carrier bearings far enough.

The midshaft should stick out the back of the housing ~20mm and that normally gets you the proper clearance.

Since you're close, I'd just ride and from a few hits it will probably push it back for you.
