Freestyle Cooling line to exhaust stinger

Can you block off the cooling line leading to the stinger on a factory wet pipe if you aren't running a water box? I don't see the point of having it on as the exhaust gas is already cooled from the head pipe.

By all means.......... cut the water off, It may melt the hoses a bit, but man, talk about the power gains you will be gaining.

So I should probably keep it on lol ok

And I don't have a waterbox that fits, and I don't have 250 to spend on a waterbox. I could fab one up,but i don't have thin wall aluminum tubing in stock at my shop.
