Always just this close
Hey all,

I am trying to gfigure out mmy friends Kawasaki 1100 problem ( I know its a couch but help me out please)

Idling it does not piss water out the pisser

Pisses fine and Will run at 16 mph atleast 1/2 hr

When I open the throttle up a bit more it over heats within seconds and then I get steam out of the pisser.

I looked at the head gasket and it looked fine.

oh yeah I we also blew a hole in an exhaust hose (which has been fixed by now)

Thanks in advance for all your help

sounds like you have some sort of blockage.

i have seen, sand, sediment, and even spider nests/crap in the hoses, causing issues.

be sure to put on a new head gasket, and take your head to a machine shop to make sure it is straight and not warped.

sounds like your hose blew, because of overheating.

like waste land said, blow out all lines with high pressure air.

Sounds clogged. As mentioned, pull all lines and check them.

I like to put the ski in the water and pull the fitting off head and start it. That tells you if it's before or after the engine pretty quickly. I did that at Freestylefest, ended up having one of my restrictors blocked almost completely.

Anyone have water routing recomendations for the 1100? I have a stock manul and see how it is routed by the book. I was going to switch to premix for mine and do away with the cooling to the front stator cover ditching the bearing in there as well. That bearing killed a stator on me! Is this ok to do so?
