Background Info:
This winter I had a project superjet. I ran it for 6 weeks this summer with no problem. Then one day the rear crank seal popped out. So my fix was too pull the engine, flip it, put in new seals, etc and put the engine back in. While I was pulling the motor I decided to replace my cooling lines beacuse the type of hose I had used was rubbing throught.
I did all of that and reasabled the boat with new hose. I hooked up my colling lines like this (see below pic1). I am not positve on how my cooling lines were hooked up before the escapade. However I modeled it after this so it should be the same. AM I MISSING SOMETHING STUPID!
Picture is Dual cooling lines ran as a parellel system: Green is a crossover line to work as an emergncy if one line gets clogged.
Problem:
Now when I am at idel very little water comes throught my exhaust pisser. The more throttle I give it the more water flows throught th pisser. ISNT THIS BACKWORDS AF HOW IT SHOULD BE. So when Im going slow all the water goes into my stinger/waterbox. I notice more smoke now too out of my front exhaust? I think?
I dont think its cooling right?!
Problem2:
When I tied my ski off too a boat sitting in a cove in about 40 minutes if was half under water!!! I have the old fuel inlet under the nosepiec/bill (squarenose) open for air. Do you think the water box was full and wieghted it down and it slowly took on water there?
HELP HELP HELP
Top Priority is to get the cooling right so I dont hurt anything.
I can always park it on a beach untill I figure out the other ********.
Thanks-NICK
