Anyone have any measurements or tips to making the roundnose conversion bracket for a square... or do I just copy the size of the square bracket?

Any suggestions are helpful

talk to pete jacobs (legdragpete) i think he has a couple left 4sale. a complete bolt on kit beside moving hood hooks for like $150

if you look at the top bolt theres another hold in front of it. the stock hood hooks bolt up to it. so now all i have to do is move the hooks on the hood out.

my distance apart is 6 3/4in, that is line to line with my pole bushings.

from the top of the plate to the center of the holes is 2 3/8. that gives my pole maybe an 1/8 of clearance from the plate.

sounds like you work in a shop so i'm sure you realize the dimensions could vary due to pole tolerances. everything provided is just what i used when making mine. have fun:biggthumpup:

Sergio from XFT is making a custom bracket for my squarenose to run a XFT pole. Not sure the dimension of the xft pole though. We will see how it turns out. The main problem with the roundnose pole on a square is the handle pole stop. B/c the squarenose bracket is mounted at an angle, if you put a lowered roundnose bracket on there your pole won't be able to extend straight up, it will stop right about in the riding poistion.
