Because you stated above: Just ride it and don't worry about a few pounds of water in the tray hull, some guys do without problems...Just ride it !

I used 4 large (caulking gun size) tubes of 5200 fast cure in my tray. Did the entire bond line, bulk head, all inserts and all pipes with the stuff but it was all done from the inside.
Yep, I went overboard but it made me feel warm and fuzzy.

I ran my RN with a 6" crack all the way through the hull under the bondline for a season and a half and the foam wasn't wet. Go figure.

x2
it will handle better as well, its just not as good for jumping to the added weight
racers actually put weight in there skis to make them handle better your comes pre weighted.

Don't waste your time squeezing 5200 into the bond line from the outside.
Won't do much good and chances are that the leak is somewhere else.

what about under the mat?

i do have a few stress cracks along the rear rail and one at the nose of the ski. the one at the nose is he worst of them and its maybe 3 inches long.

You may have some cracks under the mat but nothing that won't last a few months (or probably years, especially if you are not hard on your ski). 5200 isn't going to help you much right now - sounds like you're in for a tray-out refoam and some reinforcement. Check the FAQs for help, or find someone local who's done it before. I'd be happy to talk you through it on the phone when it comes to it as I'm sure would many others. We've all been there and done it and it's a great learning experience. You'll also feel pretty pleased with yourself when you get it all back together!

As for stress cracks - they're pretty normal and 3" isn't too bad. Push hard to see if it's weakened which would indicate more than a stress crack, otherwise it's purely a cosmetic issue. All the stuff you have found is very typical on any ski and easily repaired.

so this morning it was bone dry in the back. i did have it dripping from both sides for a while but the left side drips the most. had to run an errand this morning. tilted it again while i was gone and no drips. maybe its not as bad as i think. im sure there are stress cracks in the tray. will deal with those in the off season when i replace the mat.
