For stuff like that I use MSD style waterproof connectors. Any speed shop will have them, in 2/3/4/6 pin setups. That's how I've had my start/stop circuits for years, each on a 2 pin so I can troubleshoot easily.

The technical term for those is "Deutsch Connectors".

Good quality and seals water out.

Hey Mark,

thats the EXACT purpose I got the gm connectors, they make from 2 to like 7 conductor versions.

I had a stator with the wires cut about a foot from the flywheel cover.
and planned to make all of my E boxes, and stator/pickups compatible with those connectors.

I havent finished the project yet.
:banghead:

EDIT, they look just like those connectors posted above.

What I wanted to do was make a quick disconnect for the stator. I just want to plug and play. So I don't want to have to replace the connectors every time I take the elec. box out of of the ski but I do like those for in the box.

Connectors

I have a few boxes of misc connectors..Be careful when ordering from USA suppliers, as there is a difference in some of the diameters if you are planning on connecting them to an existing Japanese component. CDI, etc). I carry the Japanese (OEM) style connectors, most MSD, and assorted others. Drop me a line if you are looking for something special at wcc@watcon.com
