Just curious if anyone has a solution to this problem. 1 side of my boat is concave approx 1 half inch . I suppose you could trim the back side of the foothold . Level it with foam any other ideas.

A little of both I suppose. May use trinity holds........ they don't flex......... any
I've done 2 installs this far, with 2 different holds (tom21 and surfjetlouis) and my experience is that they do not line up perfectly. You need to make them fit and screw or rivet them down while the adhesive ( I use epoxy with carbosil) cures. Feel free to check out my build for inspiration. ----->
