What is the standard practice when checking compression on a power valved motor?
Throttle open, plug in one hole gauge in the other, holding the starter for about 3 cycles on the motor. The question is with the PV’s. Do you have them open or closed?
Lets just say you get 210psi with valves closed and 180 with them open? Would that be a pump gas safe? (which I understand has alot to do with squish, just looking for something generic)
When you sell the motor are you to say its a 210psi motor or a 180psi motor?
