The biggest problem is most spray bomb's are not compatible with quality automotive paint's! So if you plan on doing it the right way later on you most likely will regret it later.

There is no hardener in those color-rite spray cans, so if you spill fuel or oil on it it will start to eat it.
Its basically like like spraying acrylic enamel auto paint with no hardener. It gets hard and will work, just dont spill any chemicals on it. There prices suck too IMO..

You want to spray, but you have no compressor/spraygun, etc? Just use the Preval sprayers and use some good automotive polyurethane enamel paint then. You can get the sprayers at your hardware store for 4-7 bucks each. Its a 8 oz. glass jar with a little power pack sprayer that screws on top. I use them all the time for spraying little gel coat jobs and vinyl dye. They paint pretty well too if your careful.

the second one i listed -->http://www.colorrite.com/product/aerosol-kk7-urethane-high-gloss-clear-kit-1007.cfm

says its fuel resistant but the comments on the bottom say it sprays like crap. it seems like it has a hardener/reducer since it has the can of catalyst in the picture.

a buddy of mine just fixed a hole in an fx-140 with the stuff and he said it came out really nice looking, i was just looking for a little more feedback on the clear.

he just used the single can of clear too.
