Coffman rocket pipe

Hi all, i have a kawi 750 sx and i bought a coffman rocket pipe w silencer. The one that wraps around the motor. Do i need to have a waterbox or is this a dry pipe. Sorry if this is a stupid question. Im a greenhorn

The pipe being wet or dry has nothing to do with the waterbox, it has to do with injecting water into the pipe to cool the exhaust gases, wet pipes usually have better bottom end power, dry pipes pull better on top end, most of the 750 wraparound pipes used a resonator after the pipe, they were still quite loud but made good power. The Coffman Rocket is a wet pipe.
