I would call impros about what exact prop to get ,
Dont forget to tell them your pipe , its gonna be underproped from the pipe,

This is from pwc today(9/17 is stock prop from Kaw yes. I just bought the 9/17 swirl prop from scat track and it was a big improvement over stock 9/17. The only mod I have is a factory pipe.

This is from a impros guy, and coffman is not gonna make the power of a factory pipe by like 25% less or so ,l dont have dyno numbers but id venture to say 14-15hp coffman 25 27 limited wet or dry pipe.
Solas is gonna be different numbers than skat in the same pitch there all different

Of all the impellers available and with trying many different pitches, we found that the Solas Concord pitched at 9/15 produced the best results with a stock to mild SXI Pro. You would feel a significant increase in acceleration and even top speed with this impeller.

The stock alluminum prop is junk 3-7mph gain prop alone more power etc.

How long have you been running those spark plugs?

Put some new spark plugs in , adjust the carb that you didnt adjust to the same as the other , try and do a short 50-60feet full throttle run if it feels good , and pull the plugs so we can se if its rich or lean

Actually post a pic like that of both plugs now if you can , so we can see how its running? lean you dont want ,thats what blows up motors

We'll be able to tell you which way to turn the screwes on the carbs before you have to rejett ?

Remember which plug came from where they should be different per carb setting one carb per cylinder

Thanks! will do. Brand new spark plugs. But i just got done testing it at the lake at 8% throttle and went from 1 turn to 2 turns and nothing changed. Bogged down at 8% throttle. But that is because i was tunning 1 carb. So Saturday when i get my new jets, ill put them in, and set my jets to 1 1/2 turns and run it for 50 ft and take some pictures. should i wipe off the sparks before the test run first?

Sounds flooded or rich go ,under one turn like 7/8ths
New plugs, they may be a different heat range.

Definately wipe off the spark plugs

Yeah ,get it running right,l cant afford a prop or ride plate this summer , hurts bad ,well over a grand into a 650sx,when lm not sure the sxr hull will look right?
It really hurts me in the ocean .
l really dont even wana ride a lake again,my
Stock 15 degree aluminum garbage


I have to watch out for bulls and greatwhites that does hinder the clear 85degree ocean that seams to be dark most the time l ride

You just dont get the waves ever
