coffman jetting on 701

Installing new coffman sizzler and jetting instructions are for a 650 ( 2.0 Needle & seat, 125 main jet, 65 gram spring, 20lbs pop off) should I start here for my 2002 701 superjet? It has stock motor and carbs. If so do I leave pilot jet alone?

First make sure the manifold is for a 701 if it is for a 650 you will have to dremel it wider as also the exhaust gasket ( no lip ).

Does your coffmans sizzle ma dizzle headpipe have 3 or 2 waterbypass fittings ?

You run your ski Single or dual cooled ?

Do you have aftermarket head ( higher comp ) or OEM ?

I used following jetting for coffmans with 180 PSI,

SINGLE 44mm

N/S 1,5
95 G Spring
Main 125
pilot 115
Low screw 1
High Screw 1

That jetting is going to absolutely blow on a stock 2002 Motor with stock dual 38 carbs.

I am guessing you'll be somewhere near 75 pilots, 130 mains.

Just called coffmans # and they dont have any spec's for that pipe on a 701, they said it wasn't really designed for a 701. Trying to save some money did I screw up? Is making this pipe work going to be more trouble than its worth?

no the pipe is worth it if you paid less than 300 for it. i have one and i cant tell the differance between the bpipe and sizzler make sure you bore the mani out to fit the 701. and i had a single sbn46, tryed a riva power bomb but i couldnt get it tuned in eaither could some one else (think it was the carb) got it tuned great at times then would fall on its face i had about 3 hrs into trying to tune the powerbomb and some one else had 3 hrs into it also and put a sbn46 on it and tuned in in secs,, def worth it, im selling mine, if any ones intersted..

matts jetting is a great starting poiint for duals ( doh io posted single )

Restrict the line from headpipe to Stinger to 4mm, ( i had best results with that ) run a test ride open hood and splash water on the stinger if it sizzles its too hot and you will have to restrict less.

Would recommend to boost your ciompression in conjunction, get a milled oem head (Ask .#0 I think he makes them with o rings ?? ) or an aftermarket head.

I have a 2000 sj 701 w/ dual 38's plates removed, milled head 165 psi, lightened fly, msd enhancer, and sizzler pipe. I was running stock jetting and it falls flat 3/4 throttle. Ziggler recommended stock 1.5 ns, 75 pilots, 135 mains, and dropping to 95 spring to drop pop by around 5. Waiting on parts now. You'll like the pipe, next best thing to a b-pipe, allot less cost!
