idk..just thought id post the link. in case people were cracking them or something..personally im not a fan of helmet cams in general.. and literally cannot watch more than 5sec of footage from them..

Kinda my thoughts, I dig it but whats the point?

Looks like your limiting the unit to only being hand held, unless he plans on machineing a mounting point etc.

" come from a back ground in electronics enclosure design and a love of photography. When I first got my GoPro camera I was amazed with the quality of the pictures and the size. The fact that it was waterproof and had a fish eye lens made it perfect for so many situations. I was not impressed with the plastic housing and the fact that it made underwater video look out of focus. I set out to design my own with the goal of using aluminum for the body, glass for the lens and stainless for the hardware. Cosmetics were added while keeping the dimensions no bigger that the original. As much material as possible was removed to keep it light. The aluminum is manufactured and anodized at Neal Feay Company here in Goleta, California.
