Clunking RN SJ Exhaust Tube?

Yesterday I noticed a clunking, rattling kinda sound when moving the ski on the beach. It's coming from the area where the exhaust tube exits the ski.:irked: You can make it rattle by banging the right rear of the ski with your hand as well. Pinching the inner tube against the flange with your fingers doesn't make the sound go away.

Anybody had this happen, and what's the fix?

It's probably part of a broken piston ring or connecting rod roller bearings, rattling inside the exhaust system; nothing major to worry about.

my waterbox rattles bad...guess a connector is loose :( check there first.

Also is that hindering performance to have that waterbox F'ed up? Is a waterbox really necessary?
