Okay you nerds....

I have a hard drive, a laptop, a phone and Internet.

Can I set up my own cloud that I can back up everything to my hard drive wirelessly?

I have a 3TB GoflexHome NAS that is plugged into my 1gbps home network but I have never bothered to set it to do any backups yet. All my devices are mapped to the Goflex so I really don't keep anything local to be backed up anymore anyways. I also have a Dell server that runs my surveillance software and Plex Media server to stream over 450 movies to my ipad or google chrome from the Goflex.

I have dual band 1gbps wifi as well so data transfers aren't as painful but I still do the bulk of my media transfers via wired ethernet.

I shouldn't have said backup. I would like to do the movie streaming thing and be able to do small files like 20 MB max. Also send pictures or pdfs and stuff from my phone to it.
