chin pad holding water??

my chin pad is hold water....took it off and it weighs 5-10 lbs. tried drilling holes in the plastic underneath to let it vent but still just holds water. anybody have any suggestions or has had this problem. thanks

Is your's a round or squarenose?

I did it to mine and it looks alot better than it does stock. I dont think I have a pic of it right now though. But mine is on an xmetal pole so I was going for the aftermarket chinpad look. I also had to cut away alot of the plastic too.

If I remember I'll take a pic later after riding.

Its a round nose.

Just sucks when I have that lightweight pole spring in there and my handpole weighs the same as my buddies with a stock spring.
