Check that water depth

As the title implies!:haha:

I spiked my 550 into the bottom 4 times yesterday doing subs. this was in the middle of the lake. this lake is known to have shallow spots but even in areas I thought were deep it turned out to be less than 6'

so lesson learned. learn the bottom terrain of your local riding spots before you get youself hurt.:biggthumpup:

sorry, no pics. all you'd see anyway is a 550 go nose down then stop abruptly sending me over the pole.

sounds like you were riding the lake by my house. We got the same problems here. Stop in middle of the lake and just stand up in thigh high water.:bigeyes: :bigeyes:

Werd!... hit the bottom on my SJ doing this last year at a show - tide went out between displays:stupid: went over the bars and nearly broke my leg - managed to kink an alloy A T P pole in the process!
