Charging coil issue

Hi, I'm having problem with my SN superjet. I had no fire, after multiple test, I figure out the problem was the Charging coil on the stator. I had a rebuilt stator so I installed it. Problem solve. Then, 15 minutes later, no fire again. I did test the stator and again, the charging coil doesn't work. Was I just really bad lucky or something else could've had burn my charging coil?? Did somebody already had a similar problem?

gen 1 Epic Cdi? I am not very good with electrical but I've heard/read my share of issues with the original batch. Try a known working stock cdi and go from there.

I also heard reliability issue with the epic, but so far mine is still working. I've test everything and it's the charge coil. I'm just wondering if there is something that can burn the charge coil as my rebuilt one last only 15 minutes. Or if I was just bad lucky with a bad coil.

Any chances a bad epic, a bad ground or anything could burn charge coil?

You mentioned that you installed a rebuilt stator and the charge coil failed. What kind of charge coil was used for the rebuild? Some have been known to fail rapidly. My gen 1 Epics are working just fine and they don't - can't actually- eat charge coils .

It's not an oem coil that was used on the rebuilt stator, that's for sure. I'M pretty sure that was my problem. I am gonna buy an new oem charge coil, that's for sure, I want reliability.
