changing stator plate

I have a good 62t stator but where it bolts to the engine has a piece cracked off it. My question is that the wires go through a hole and then end up on the back side. Is their a way to not have to cut the wires to get them through?
 
You could de/solder the wires from the coils, but I must warn you: the splice at the pulse coil is hard to duplicate. My preferred way is to cut off the 3.9mm connectors at the ebox end, pull off the rubber grommet- then no soldering needed- just new oem style connectors.
