I use a local guy here within 30 minutes of my home, he owns a small ski / cycle repair business. He has a boring machine and can run down to the .25mm range. He will hone it and chamfer the ports, some machine shops will not do this, be sure and ask. If you want to send your jug to TN he can turn it around in a couple of days. Quality work & quick turnaround at a fair price. LMK if you are interested, he has bored many cyls for me and all of our local riding group. Never had any problems.

EVERY shop is Oregon sends there stuff out also, and when I lived in Tahoe/Reno they did the same there...
Most bike shops in this area are like that too these days. Years ago you could usually get boring done at the same place, but times have changed. I got tired of going to automotive machine shops, they ususally would do a good job of boring, but the were not familiar with 2 stroke engines. I ususally had to chamfer & finish hone the ports myself. The guy I use now is a certified mechanic and does a precise toleranced job honed & chamfered for the same price or less than I was paying before when I had to do work after the fact.
