Kennay normal operating temperature for a marine engine is 150 degrees,you can touch that with your hand for a short period of time,if you cannot it is running too hot and you need more cooling.How do I know this,from years of working on Ski Nautiques with temperature gauges and I also made my own temperature gauge for Seadoo watercraft to determine whether a particular craft had a cooling problem or just a bad temperature sender.

The ceramic coating has to be baked between 500F - 700F degrees for a minumum of 60-minutes and that might cause some warpage problems with the cylinder or cases.

I agree. I wouldnt do it because of the possible warp factor also.
