Cerakote on a 701

I used the air cure Glacier Silver (C-7700) and Burnt Bronze (C-148).
Each part was chemically stripped, any casting imperfections were sanded/ground smooth. Each part was sandblasted w 80 grit aluminum oxide, soaked in acetone, then Cerakoted.
Stainless and brass carburetor components were chemically stripped of the factory coating and either polished or left raw.
This stuff is supposed to have no known kryptonite, we'll see how long it lasts.

Looks great! Can't wait to see how it looks in a year or two.

I had a couple ebox backs done a few years ago as an experiment.
We chained one to an inter-coastal wharf for a month or two to see how it would stand up to the elements.
The results were not as impressive as I had hoped but it was a pretty ugly test that doesn't really represent actual usage.
