I have a 61X motor and I believe the my CDI is bad. Aren't the CDI's interchangable from 6m6 to 61X? I thought they were as long as the flywheel and stator were matched up...

You don't even have to change the flywheel or stator. They interchange no problem. Alot of people put a stock 61x CDI into the old 650/6m6 skis for a higher rev limit.

I'm having a spark issue. There is a draw from the CDI somewhere.
I figured the CDI's would all work and I thought it was just a rev limiter on the 650s so I should be good to try the 6m6 CDI?
