It got wet for a day (salt water). Then it just quit. Would fire only when start button was first pressed and when let go.
I tried reversing the two white wires per BK's suggestion, to no avail.

I plan on cutting it open. :biggthumpup:

yes, good plan.

stick it in an old oven hung by the metal backing plate, and let the stuff drip off, thats how the guys used to open those old Merc outboard boxes.

I need to mess with my dead one again, I was thinking clean each connector and reinstall and retry. ( hopeful)

i just thought i read once upon a time to keep electrics the same t and x etc.

also i think the stator/flywheel are from a raider if that makes a difference

well i took her out today with the msd cdi
wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
she seems to have really evicted most of the gremlins that have been messing with me for so long

now it feels i have not enough prop :(
i hit the rev limiter at 3/4 throttle

nice crisp and mean all the way to the rev limit though
i love it
